Machine Shop Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop personnel
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Ensure parts are produced to quality standards
- Assist employees in reaching their full potential
- Assign work orders and ensure timely completion of projects
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement process improvements
Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent degree required
- Minimum 6 years CNC machining experience required
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to develop programming skills
- Great attitude and attendance
- Ability to use hand tools and read blue prints
- Ability to use measuring tools and shop mathematics
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds over the course of a shift
- Problem Solving Skills
- Prior ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 implementation a plus
- 3 - 5 years Manufacturing industry experience required
