Job Description

Sterling Engineering has partnered with a client in Plattsburgh, NY on bringing in some Process Technicians to join their team. This will be a great opportunity for a hands-on candidate to step foot in a well rounded organization. 

  • Location: Plattsburgh, NY 

  • Title: Process Technician

  • Duration: 6 months-1 year contract 

  • Pay Rate For Entry Level: 18-21

  • Pay Rate For Experienced: 27-30 

  • Shift: Night, 12 hours 


Job Summary:

  • Maintain machines and associate equipment in optimum condition
  • Make necessary and/ or routine machine adjustments and to repair equipment in an effort to provide continuous production
  • Responsible for knowing how to operate all machines and equipment in order to understand their function and repair them


  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year in a technician/operator type position
  • Must be able to work night shift
