Job Description
Machine Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Machine Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating the lamination or slitting process, ensuring product quality, and maintaining optimal production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety by following all established policies and procedures.
- Check machine settings and safety devices before operation, set controls, start machines, and load materials.
- Perform and demonstrate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on slitting and lamination equipment.
- Complete production paperwork in alignment with standard operating procedures.
- Interpret lamination/slitting production schedules to effectively fulfill production orders.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure materials meet company standards.
- Adjust machine temperature, pressure, and speed to optimize lamination processes.
- Trim and laminate rolls according to cycle and quality specifications.
- Monitor operations for surface and quality defects, ensuring a high standard of output.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work all shifts and perform overtime as needed.
- Experience in quality control is preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions
- Basic math skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and ability to apply it to quality processes.
