Machine Builder, Senior
Job Description
Pay: Up to $40/hour
Position Type: Contract through the end of the year with potential for extension or direct hire
- Assemble custom industrial machinery and automation equipment from mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Build mechanical systems using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Install and align mechanical components, assemblies, and subassemblies.
- Verify proper fit, function, and quality throughout the assembly process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly issues as they arise.
- Work independently while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams as needed to complete builds on schedule.
- Previous experience as a Machine Builder, Mechanical Assembler, or Automation Equipment Builder.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings.
- Experience assembling custom machinery or automation equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to producing high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
