Location: Waukesha, WI
Salary: $52,000 - $75,000 per year (Depending on Experience)
Job Type: Direct Hire

About Us:
We are a dynamic company in Waukesha, WI, and we're looking for a Machine Builder to join our team. Under the direction of the Shop Manager, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, debugging, and troubleshooting various types of industrial equipment using electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we want to hear from you!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work both independently and as part of a project team.
Comply with all quality and safety regulations.
Travel may be required.
Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Must have your own set of tools.

Electrical:
Organize and maintain electrical schematics, shop materials, job inventory, and tools for a professional image.
Wire electrical sub-panels from schematics and customer specifications.
Modify enclosures as required to fit components.
Install cord grips, hardware, flexible and rigid conduit for interconnecting enclosures.
Operate labeling devices and machines.
Understand the build process and make necessary mechanical or electrical changes.
Proficiency with industry electrical codes, including NEC, ANSI, NFPA, and OSHA.

Mechanical:
Read and interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals.
Plan assembly or building operations.
Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists or lifts.
Lay out drill, ream, tap, or cut parts for assembly.
Set up and operate metalworking machines such as drills, grinders, saws, hammer drills, etc.
Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Measure and layout floor plans for systems using mathematics as needed.
Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments like calipers, gauges, or micrometers.

Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of an Associate's degree (AA) or three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and understand complex mechanical CAD drawings.
