Job Description
Overview:
Come with with a renowned manufacturer of robotic food processing machines. As a machine builder you will be responsible for integrating automated systems and equipment for manufacturing processes within Fanuc Robots. You will also work with mechanical components, electrical controls, PLCs, sensors, and software to create efficient, reliable machines that meet production requirements.

You will also work with mechanical components, electrical controls, PLCs, sensors, and software to create efficient, reliable machines that meet production requirements.
Pay: $25-$32/hr (Depending on Experience)
Job Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC, computer-controlled, and servo-controlled equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Maintain and repair electrical controls, including motor starters, relays, control wiring, variable frequency drives, sensors, and AC/DC motors.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems and components, such as conveyors, pumps, valves, pneumatics, bearings, seals, gearboxes, belt and chain drives.
- Utilize shop machinery, including industrial tools and oscilloscopes, for repair purposes.
- Support the Preventive Maintenance program by performing PM activities and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Provide written and oral communication to manufacturing team leaders and management.
- Support Engineering projects for new equipment installations and improvements to existing installations.
- Adhere to safety policies, including lock-out/tag-out and confined space entry procedures.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in maintaining and repairing automated manufacturing equipment, with a focus on electrical and control
- systems.
- 2-year degree in electrical, electronics, electromechanical fields or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to configure and program PLC systems.
- Electrical License and willingness to maintain it while employed.
- Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
