Job Description:
As a Machine Builder, you will be responsible for the mechanical sub-assembly and machine assembly of splicing equipment used in the web-handling, label, tag, and packaging industries. Your primary duties will include assembling and testing paper splicers, routing cables and pneumatic lines, and ensuring the proper layout, drilling, and tapping of subpanel holes as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for the assembly and wiring of motors involved in the machines.
Responsibilities:
Assemble and test paper splicers
Route cables and pneumatic lines
Layout, drill, and tap all subpanel holes as required
Assemble and wire motors involved with the machines
Ensure quality and precision in all assembly tasks
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve any assembly-related issues
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
