Job Description

Title: Machine Builder 

Hourly Pay: $28hr - $35hr (based on experience) 

Location: Glendale Heights, IL 60139

Hire Type: Full-time, hourly

Job Duties:
  • Assemble mechanical components of machines per blueprints and instructions; fabricate or modify simple parts as needed.
  • Install pneumatics and perform setup, troubleshooting, timing, and dynamic testing of equipment.
  • Ensure quality control, maintain documentation, and report issues like defects, incomplete work, or safety hazards.
  • Work with production management and engineering teams to identify and implement improvements and eliminate waste.
  • Maintain workplace organization (5S) and adhere to all safety standards.
  • Support various production tasks as needed and occasionally travel for machine installation and servicing.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimally 3+ years experience  in building and troubleshooting packaging/conveyor/material handling equipment
