Job Description
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to determine optimal assembly practices.
- Measure, mark, and prepare metal components for machining using various tools and equipment..
- Verify dimensions and alignments using specialized measuring instruments, ensuring adherence to tolerances.
- Troubleshoot equipment at customer facilities, executing necessary adjustments to restore operational status.
- Analyze equipment malfunctions and provide demonstrations to customers on proper operation.
- Collaborate with customers, supervisors, and managers to plan equipment layout and resolve issues.
- Lead on-site teams, communicating effectively with customers and project managers when assigned as a project lead.
- Prepare detailed service reports documenting the work performed.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and system controls.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and assembly guides.
- Journeyman card/license/certification is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical systems.
- Ability to perform calculations in both English and metric units.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
- Experience working with customers to resolve problems is highly valued.
