Electrical Machine Assembler

Location: Cary, IL
Pay: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time | Hourly

Overview
We’re seeking a Machine Wiring Associate to join a custom machine build environment focused on automation and engineered equipment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys electrical assembly, wiring, and working closely with engineering teams to build reliable, high-quality machinery from the ground up. 
MACHINE WIRING ASSOCIATE

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Mount electrical components and wire custom automated machinery
  • Modify, drill, assemble, and wire electrical control panels and enclosures
  • Solder PC boards and cable assemblies, including high-density connectors
  • Build electrical test fixtures to support machine testing and validation
  • Read and follow electrical prints, schematics, and blueprints
  • Update and maintain documentation such as Bills of Materials (BOMs) and electrical drawings
  • Support additional shop and engineering tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
  • At least 1 year of hands-on machine wiring and soldering experience
  • Ability to read electrical prints and blueprints
  • Experience using hand tools, wire crimpers, and measuring tools
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure
  • Basic Windows PC skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with CAD or electrical schematics
  • Background working with automated or custom-built equipment
  • Exposure to control panels, machine wiring, or industrial equipment builds
