Position:  Project Manager – Multiple Small Projects (PMP)
Duration: 12-24 months + Benefits
Location: onsite in Indianapolis, IN 46225

I am looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent small-to-mid-scale projects across various industries, including commercial solar, telecom, and residential/commercial renovations. The ideal candidate will hold a PMP certification, have a proven track record of successfully managing high-volume project portfolios, and bring strong organizational, communication, and vendor coordination skills.

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects (up to 60+ at a time) from initiation to closeout, ensuring scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards are met.
  • Support senior project managers on large programs while independently managing assigned small projects.
  • Develop project documentation including cost estimates, study letters, contracts, and change requests.
  • Maintain and update project tracking systems (SharePoint, Primavera 6, Power BI, Asset Suite 8) with accurate and timely data.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, capacity planning, field operations, and vendors to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and track budgets, forecasts, accruals, and invoices in collaboration with cost analysts.
  • Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, track action items, and monitor progress.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, purchase orders, change orders, and payment approvals.
Qualifications:
  • PMP certification is highly desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–10 years of experience managing multiple small-to-mid-sized projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in industries such as renewable energy, telecom, or construction preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and systems such as Primavera 6, Power BI, SharePoint, Asset Suite 8, Yardi, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management.
