CAD Drafter
Job Description
Must have: AutoCAD experience
- Perform physical verification of the production floor to identify and document discrepancies in existing layout drawings.
- Update floor plans in AutoCAD, adding or removing machinery and equipment as needed.
- Ensure accurate representation of machinery placement and footprints to assist in planning and relocation efforts.
- Complete on-site measuring using a tape measurer and manual documentation.
- Work closely with engineering, facilities, and operations teams to ensure drawing accuracy and alignment with current layouts.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with hands-on experience creating and updating technical layout drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and document physical layouts.
- Comfortable working on the production floor to gather data and verify equipment placement.
- Understanding of plant layout, facility planning, or manufacturing environments
