Lead Process Engineer
Job Description
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure plant designs are safe, environmentally sound, and comply with regulations (e.g., EU Machinery Directive). Conduct required reviews and risk assessments.
- Project Execution: Manage engineering execution, schedules, and resource allocation. Balance cost, timeline, and quality.
- Design Oversight: Ensure designs align with regulations, customer requirements, and standards. Maintain design consistency and documentation: support supply chain and installation teams.
- Communication & Collaboration: Represent engineering in customer and internal meetings, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely issue resolution.
- Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Electrical)
- Experience in hygienic industries (Food, Beverage, Pharma)
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP and scheduling tools are a plus
