Title: Lead Maintenance Technician (Pitman Day Shift)
Location: Burlington, WA
Shifts Available
  • 12 hr. Day shift ( 2-2-3-2)
  • 12 hr. Night Shift ( 2-2-3-2)
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $32–$45/Hour

The Lead Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring proper preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, and coordinating with production and quality teams to minimize downtime and keep operations running smoothly.  

Job Duties:
  • Lead a team of 7 maintenance technicians on shift.
  • Monitor and enforce PM completion and work order completion for corrective actions.
  • Maintain production equipment to maximize operating performance and assist with maintaining electrical spare parts’ inventory levels.
  • Perform repairs on equipment to restore it to proper and safe working conditions.
  • Perform installation, set up, modification, and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements.
  • Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
  • Always follow lockout/tagout procedure.
  • Perform preventive/predictive maintenance to all production equipment as required.
  • Complete electrical and mechanical projects based on direction from Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices and follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Repair and replace electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls, and valves.
Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
  • Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCat, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Technical certificate from trade school preferred.
