Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, conveyors, balers, shredders, and other industrial recycling machinery to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with managers, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate extensive repairs and ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform comprehensive repair work, including hydraulic, electronic/electrical, mechanical, and basic fabrication tasks, as well as preventive maintenance.
  • Meticulously document repairs and maintenance activities through detailed work order reports.
  • Identify and source necessary parts and equipment replacements, leveraging computer and internet resources.
  • Demonstrate versatility by working in various positions, including kneeling, bending, crouching, and operating elevated lifts for extended periods.
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all safety requirements and leading by example in promoting a safe work environment.
  • Embrace a culture of continuous improvement by providing and receiving constructive feedback for coaching and development.
  • Exhibit flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support operational requirements.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to balance team and individual responsibilities while building consensus.
  • Unwavering commitment to integrity, ethical conduct, and upholding organizational values.
  • Possession of personal basic hand tools.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.

Salary: $70,000-85,000
