Title: Sr. Designer
Location: Orlando, FL
Hire Type: Contract to hire
Compensation: $23-30/hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret, analyze, organize, execute, and coordinate new design projects and revisions to existing projects of varying size and complexity
  • Apply engineering principles and standard procedures while performing design work
  • Perform design calculations as required
  • Develop and provide detailed design elements as needed
  • Identify and seek resolution for non-standard analytical or design issues
  • Prepare estimated time requirements for assigned projects
  • Attend project-specific meetings to help establish and manage CAD schedules
  • Save and maintain project-specific data on a daily and weekly basis
  • Review and verify field survey notes
  • Assist Project Managers and engineering staff as needed
  • Participate in meetings as required
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and responsiveness
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment
Position Characteristics
  • Requires basic knowledge of plan reading and more-than-basic mathematical skills
  • Involves resolving problems of limited scope and complexity
  • Requires occasional periods of intense concentration
  • Demands average strength and stamina
  • Involves extended periods working at a computer, including the ability to distinguish slight color variations
  • Office-based work environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, fumes, or other hazards
  • Infrequent travel may be required
