Job Description
Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift : 1st
Compensation: $22-26/hr.

Overview:
Job Duties:
- Pick and stage parts accurately for production work orders
- Maintain and organize overstock inventory using FIFO practices
- Receive, unload, and put incoming materials away in designated warehouse locations
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
- Package parts and materials for daily FedEx and UPS shipments
- Prepare, label, and stage finished equipment for shipment
- Assist with loading large equipment onto trucks
- Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus — in-house forklift training and certification are available
- Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Reliable team player who takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment
- Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
