Instrument Repair Technician
Job Description
- Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of Quality System.
- Follow written work instructions and collect all relevant data.
- Troubleshoots electromechanical problems
- Works with Engineering/Production to implement design and/or process improvements
- Maintains records that comply with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Consults with customer service, instrument production, etc. as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining parts and materials in service area.
- High school diploma with relevant experience required. Associates degree preferred.
- Ability to use specialized equipment, read instructions, maintain written records, work from established drawings. Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
- Experience with soldering, multimeter usage a plus.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. May be required to work while wearing personal protective gear.
