Job Summary:
Sterling’s 25-year client is looking to bring on an Industrial Engineer to their team. Costing will be the primary focus with the new person and once that is done, then get an overview of the Planning function next. Once we automate the quoting process and the time needed becomes less, this individual can then assist us in process improvement projects, layouts, etc.
 
Job Duties:
  • Ability to learn and understand all manufacturing processes and costs.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of material properties.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Skill sets to include time studies, routings and process analysis.
  • Ability to analyze data, calculate cost estimates and recommend pricing.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering degree or similar degree required 
  • Ability to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment
