Job Summary: 

Sterling Engineering's 25+ year client in Wood Dale is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their team. Open on experience-level 0-5 years experience 

Job Duties:

• Analyze product flow and improve production layouts to be optimal for current and future production.
• Perform labor hour forecasting and capacity, staffing, and critical path analyses.
• Gather the information required and to understanding capacity analysis and production impact.
• Evaluate and recommend material handling methods to automate production.
• Facilitate continuous improvement activities.
• Work with Leadership to develop and implement plans to improve operating methods, as well as communicate new technologies/methodologies and facility modifications.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering
• Manufacturing background with shop floor experience
• Strong Excel skills
