Industrial Engineer
Job Description
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
- Develop and implement systems to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and maintenance, to enhance performance.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for management regarding project status and improvement metrics.
- Utilize lean manufacturing and six-sigma principles to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist with plant layout optimization and material flow analysis.
- Support plant safety initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably within the power or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience with data analysis, process modeling, and simulation tools.
