Job Summary:
  • Join our food manufacturing team as an experienced Industrial Electrician and Instrumentation Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and instrumentation equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our production processes. We are seeking a candidate with strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Job Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Run and replace conduit for new installations and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and instrumentation issues, utilizing appropriate testing equipment and tools.
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address issues affecting production processes or product quality.
  • Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams, schematics, and blueprints for effective troubleshooting and repair.
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Assist in planning and implementing electrical and instrumentation upgrades or modifications.


Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an industrial electrician and instrumentation technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using electrical and instrumentation testing equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
