Job Summary:
- A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician to support the performance, reliability, and continuous operation of electrical and automated equipment within a regulated production environment. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing electrical systems that support high-speed manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including wiring, panels, motors, and control components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using diagnostic tools to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support automated equipment by maintaining PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and related control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to improve reliability and production efficiency.
- Document maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment changes in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on technical training.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing industrial electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, motors, and control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Knowledge of industrial power distribution, motor controls, and automation components.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements
