IT System Engineer (Remote)
Job Description
- Manage and maintain the organization's servers, networks, and systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, systems, and components.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with manager to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Respond to security incidents and assist in the resolution of security-related issues.
- Configure and implement automation monitoring and management
- Ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in programming, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of enterprise Systems engineering or Systems administration experience including Windows servers in production environments
- 3+ years of Network experience in Lan/Wan technologies, switches, and routers. SDWan/SASE is a plus
- 3+ years of scripting experience with PowerShell
- 2+ years Public Cloud experience with Azure
- 2+ Office 365 administration
- 5+ years of experience with Active Directory, LDAP or other identity and security management systems.
- 1+ years of IIS Web Server configuration and management
- 1+ years Backup and Recovery
- 5+ years with the configuration and administration of supporting Windows system components (Domain Controllers, DFS, DHCP, DNS, WINS)
