Job Description
Title: IT Support Technician 2
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift : 1st Shift | 7a till 3:30p
Compensation: $24/hr

Overview:
Job Duties:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop and laptop computers.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Deploy software, patches, updates, and operating system images.
- Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and end-user applications.
- Assist with network-related troubleshooting and escalation to Network Administrators when necessary.
- Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of IT assets and equipment.
- Coordinate hardware repairs with vendors and service providers.
- Support printer operations and manage printer consumables.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and support records.
- Assist with workstation setup, moves, and upgrades.
- Perform preventative maintenance on computer systems and peripherals.
- Support mobile devices and end-user technology as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Basic knowledge of PC hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Understanding of imaging and deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Minimum 2 years of related IT support experience.
- Working knowledge of desktop hardware and operating systems.
- Experience supporting Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices.
- Experience with imaging and deployment tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
