Contract Technical Recruiter – Manufacturing (6-Month Contract)
Location: Austin, TX (Remote within 1 hour of site)
Compensation: $40–$45/hour
Contract Length: 6 months (no extension or conversion)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team on a 6-month contract to cover a leave of absence. This is a great opportunity to make an impact by helping us hire top talent in the manufacturing industry. You will focus on recruiting for Quality Engineering and Design Engineering roles, working closely with hiring managers to identify, attract, and secure highly skilled candidates.
Key Details
  • Austin-based role – can be remote within one hour of the site.
  • Must be willing to travel occasionally into Austin for onsite meetings.
  • Strictly a 6-month contract – no extension or conversion available.
  • We are looking for manufacturing/engineering recruiting experience only.
What You’ll Do
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and build recruiting strategies.
  • Source, screen, and manage candidates for highly technical manufacturing engineering positions.
  • Run the full recruiting cycle – from job posting and candidate outreach to interviews and offer support.
  • Keep records accurate in the applicant tracking system and ensure compliance with all hiring processes.
  • Provide a great candidate experience and serve as a trusted recruiting partner to the business.
What We’re Looking For
  • Prior experience recruiting for manufacturing industry roles, with a focus on Quality Engineers and/or Design Engineers.
  • Proven sourcing skills and ability to engage passive candidates.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Based in Austin, TX area (within one hour of site) with flexibility to attend meetings onsite.
