IT Support Technician
Job Description
- Serve as the first point of contact for end-user IT support via phone, email, and in-person requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network issues
- Document incidents and service requests in the ticketing system
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support staff as needed
- Support Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and basic Active Directory tasks
- Set up and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Assist with user account management and password resets
- Maintain a high level of customer service and communication
- 1+ year of IT support or help desk experience
- Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office suite
- Basic networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or technical certifications a plus)
- Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Onsite in Lemont, IL
