Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage 75% safety and 25% environmental responsibilities
- Collaborate with integrators on health and safety aspects of production lines
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain up-to-date certifications
- Investigate and follow up on workplace injuries and workers' compensation cases
- Monitor and track environmental factors, including process water and air pollution
- Implement and maintain ISO 14001 environmental management system
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and safety evaluations of new equipment
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees
- Manage relationships with third-party safety consultants
- Continuously improve existing health and safety regulations
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
- 3-4 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 14001 standards (preferred)
- Experience with metal fabrication or plastic molding machinery
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent communication and training abilities
