Job Description
Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
Capable of training others on tasks.
proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
Understands basic test and balance theories including relationships of total/static/velocity pressure, static losses in ductwork systems, static regain, fan laws, and effective ventilation
Must have knowledge in the use of flow hood, vel grid and pitot tube for test and balancing.
Must know how to use a full complement of mechanics hand tools, test equipment such as multimeters, flow hoods, photometers, aerosol generator, hot wire manometer, and various power tools, etc.
Has the knowledge and experience to perform advanced troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on various devices including fans, valves, actuators, etc. Must be an expert in the use of mechanical hand tools and test equipment including multimeters, flow hoods, etc.
HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates Technical Degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
Experience with Pneumatics (Control Valves/ dampers)
Experience with VFD's and HMI's
HVAC Controls experience with a basic understating of PLC logic
Ability to use a Fluke Multimeter for testing
Electrical experience preferred (up to 480v)
