Job Description

Title: CNC Grinder
Location: Itasca, IL 
Hire Type: Contract to Hire 
Salary: $23-28/hrly + OT
Misc: This role is 100% on-site 

We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to operate precision grinding equipment for the production of high-quality metal components. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC grinding machines to meet tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC grinding machines (OD/ID, surface, or centerless).
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure part accuracy.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure safe machine operation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
  • 1–3 years of CNC grinding experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Familiarity with G/M code is a plus.
