Job Description

Sterling Engineering is a staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We have partnered with a growing global manufacturing company on bringing in a Finance Manager to join their team. This person will have cross-functional accounting and finance responsibilities and will have oversight of a smaller global team. Responsibilities:

  • Manages monthly financial close process, ensuring compliance of all financial regulatory pronouncements
  • Drives annual audit and quarterly review process in partnership with external auditors
  • Leads AP and AR teams
  • Implements accounting policies & procedures
  • Responsible for approval of journal entries while ensuring proper accounting guidelines per GAAP and of financial statements
  • Leads balance sheet reviews, monthly close calls, and prepare & communicate month end financial reporting findings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years of managerial finance/accounting experience
  • Experience in manufacturing a must
  • Global experience
