Title: Facilities Technician 

Location: West Columbia, SC

Hire Type: 6 months / 6am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri

Hourly Rate: $18hr - $20.00hr (OT available)


Job Summary: 
We are seeking a hands-on and dependable Facilities Technician for our customer whom is a global third party manufacturer. Looking for someone with a strong foundation in general maintenance and mechanical skills. This role is responsible for performing a variety of facility-related tasks, including basic repairs, installations, and general upkeep of the physical workspace. The ideal candidate will have carpentry experience and be comfortable using basic hand and power tools.


Job Duties:
  • Move and install storage racks, fences, cages, and other facility equipment
  • Perform light plumbing tasks (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing fixtures)
  • Complete light patchwork and drywall repairs
  • Assist with general carpentry tasks such as framing, door/hardware adjustments, and minor wood repairs
  • Operate basic tools such as drills, hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and saws
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational needs
  • Follow safety procedures and report any issues or hazards promptly


Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift 50-75lbs 
  • Ability to use and maintain basic hand and power tools
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
