Fluid Power Technician
Job Description
- Assemble equipment according to approved designs and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, promoting a safe and efficient environment.
- Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic circuits, install piping and hoses, and interpret blueprints and symbols.
- Assist in the implementation and adherence to ISO/Quality Standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to team efforts.
- High School diploma or equivalent, 3-5 years fluid power experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of schematic interpretation, pipe threading, fitting identification, and symbols.
- Proven mechanical aptitude with a focus on safety and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working on/under machines.
- Willingness to obtain licenses and training in Hi-Lo (Forklift), Aerial Platform, Overhead Crane, and Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to provide personal hand tools and a suitable toolbox.
- Travel may be required, including domestic and international travel, depending on the project (approximately 20% of the time).
- Ability to accept direction, complete tasks as assigned, and work effectively as part of a team or individually.
