Job Description
Title: Financial Analyst
Duration: At least a 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension/long term role
Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days
- Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and timeliness
- Perform monthly budgeting analysis and support forecasting processes
- Conduct cost accounting and margin analysis to support business decisions
- Reconcile and maintain the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand cost drivers and variances
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
- Help drive process improvements and identify efficiencies in financial workflows
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles
- Strong understanding of journal entries, cost accounting, and budgeting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
