Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 (Experience-dependent)
Are you a skilled technician with a knack for problem-solving and customer support? Join our team at Sterling Engineering as a Field Service Technician. In this full-time, direct hire role, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch care for their equipment needs.
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive technical support to customers, addressing inquiries and providing training on our equipment.
Conduct on-site installation, repairs, maintenance, and testing tasks, following company protocols.
Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests, equipment checkouts, assembly, and technical phone support.
Collaborate with the sales department to identify new customer opportunities and build strong relationships.
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in computer literacy, report writing, and documentation.
3-5 years of field service technician or customer service experience.
Valid driver's license.
High school diploma or GED.
Working knowledge of packaging equipment systems, especially filling equipment.
Flexibility for travel (up to 75%) to customer sites.
Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Sitting for documentation and reports.
Field service at customer facilities.
Travel: primarily domestic, occasional international.
