Sterling Engineering is looking for a Field Service Technician for a leading air compressor distributor in Oakdale, PA. This is a great opportunity to work with a growing company with great benefits! 

Job Duties:
  • Provide on-site technical support and repairs for customer equipment
  • Explain system operations, features, and benefits to customers
  • Perform preventative maintenance on air compressor products
  • Inspect and service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment
  • Ensure safety and responsibility in all tasks to avoid injuries or property damage
  • Understand customer needs, recommend corrective actions, and exceed expectations
  • Complete necessary paperwork (work orders, service orders, contracts, etc.)
  • Maintain a professional appearance and customer service standards
  • Build trust and communicate well with customers and coworkers
  • Follow safety procedures and company regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical and electrical skills are required 
  • Air Compressor experience is required 
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
