Field Service Technician
Job Description
The Enclosure Field Service Technician will report to the Director of Service. He/she will be responsible for providing in-house and field service support for installations, start-up, troubleshooting, and testing of enclosures and systems. Additionally, he/she will be accountable for adhering to all manufacturing and safety procedures while building and installing equipment.
- Organized installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Building strong customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- On-time and on-budget installations.
- Travel required.
- Competent in reading and utilizing mechanical and construction drawings/models to build equipment and install it correctly in the field.
- Experience in construction trades, working with sub-contractors and end customers.
- Maintain project schedule while working as the foreman onsite.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide daily schedule updates to management and customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate on-site situations and provide required solutions.
- Knowledge of forklifts, scissor lifts, and cranes, with an understanding of proper rigging techniques.
- The ability to work closely with internal departments and operations personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues.
- Strong safety mindset when on customer sites, ensuring personnel and sub-contractors are working within established safety guidelines.
