Field Service Technician
Job Description
Travel: Approximately 40%
Employment Type: Full-Time
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging and conveyor equipment
- Diagnose mechanical issues involving conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains, drives, and related components
- Perform equipment adjustments, modifications, and mechanical repairs
- Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities
- Travel to customer facilities to provide on-site technical support
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify the root cause of failures
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve equipment problems
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, manuals, and equipment documentation
- Maintain accurate service reports and document work performed
- Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Follow all applicable safety procedures while working at customer
