Field Service Technician
Job Description
Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour

Position Overview:
The Field Service Technician will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and customer satisfaction of our industrial converting equipment. This position requires a versatile individual with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing installations, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on our equipment at customer sites. Approximately 50% travel will be required, both domestically and internationally, to support our global customer base.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site installations of industrial converting equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering and Sales, to communicate customer feedback and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
Keep up-to-date with product advancements, industry trends, and emerging technologies relevant to industrial converting equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the industrial machinery or equipment industry.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and other automation components is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
Valid driver's license and passport, or the ability to obtain them.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
