Location: Vernon Hills, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70k-$75k/yr. plus OT
Sterling Engineering is looking for a Field Service Engineer for a company located in Vernon Hills, IL that specializes in the designing and manufacturing and sale of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment. Job Duties:
- Field installation of Surface Mount automation equipment
- Field troubleshooting, repair, and process support
- Field modifications and retrofits
- Ability to do On-site training
- Engineering-level technical phone support
- Data collection and reporting
- Electrical schematic, blueprint, and mechatronics comprehension
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- SMT experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic/repair skills
- Proficiency in PC applications
- Flexibility for frequent travel (approximately 75%)
