Support is offered both remotely and on-site, with a strong focus on solving technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting solar and storage inverter systems—handling commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales service both remotely and on-site. Key Responsibilities:

** MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL UP TO 75% domestically and internationally**

Salary: $90k-$100k/yr w. 10% bonus with travel incentives

Commissioning Support:
  • Perform on-site commissioning activities for solar and storage systems.
  • Coordinate schedules with project/site managers and assign day-to-day tasks to technicians.
  • Supervise and provide technical guidance to internal and subcontracted technicians.
  • Consult with site stakeholders to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Make real-time technical decisions and adjustments as needed during commissioning.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and systems independently, including newly released features.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering and R&D for ongoing product improvement.

Aftersales Support
  • Serve as the primary contact for technical aftersales support for assigned projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email, remote access, or on-site visits.
  • Oversee and guide technicians during aftersales activities.
  • Coordinate with support teams when escalation is required.
  • Repair and process returned materials and components.

General Duties:
  • Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Complete and submit expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on product updates through training sessions and internal meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronics or power electronics.
  • Prior experience with PV and storage systems strongly preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Familiarity with UL 1741, IEEE 1547, NEC codes, and PV-related regulations preferred.
