Field Engineer
Job Description
- Collaborate with Field/Project Managers to understand project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct and oversee field testing of furnace conditions, including temperature mapping, gas species testing, ammonia sampling, and more.
- Assist with equipment installation, startup, optimization, and troubleshooting, ensuring projects meet customer expectations.
- Document field activities through comprehensive reports and logs.
- Lead site meetings with customers and maintain open lines of communication throughout the project.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by documenting lessons learned and innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, company policies, and project requirements.
- Occasionally supervise and mentor other team members to drive project success.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in project/process engineering, with a focus on construction or process industries
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with maintenance, operations, or construction.
- Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and technical documentation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think creatively and make sound decisions.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a knack for collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving project needs.
