Facilities Technician
Job Description
Location: West Columbia, SC
- Move and install storage racks, fences, cages, and other facility equipment
- Perform light plumbing tasks (e.g., unclogging drains, replacing fixtures)
- Complete light patchwork and drywall repairs
- Assist with general carpentry tasks such as framing, door/hardware adjustments, and minor wood repairs
- Operate basic tools such as drills, hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and saws
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to support operational needs
- Follow safety procedures and report any issues or hazards promptly
- 2+ years of general maintenance or facilities experience preferred
- Basic mechanical and carpentry skills
- Ability to use and maintain basic hand and power tools
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed
