Job Summary:
We’re actively seeking an experienced Facilities Design Engineer to work on Gas Facilities Projects. This position is responsible for independently performing detailed engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks; performing engineering tasks on multiple small to medium sized projects with a moderate level of technical difficulty; performing most assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected;

Job Duties:
  • Applying sound engineering knowledge and practices in the design of instrumentation & controls, conduit & cable sizing, and electrical area classifications. 
  • Providing input to Project Managers and the Business Unit Leader about process and design improvements related to engineering design and technology.
  • Assisting in preparing proposals for the business unit by estimating engineering hours.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • 4-7 years of experience
  • Experience with Instrumentation & Controls, Conduit & Cable Sizing, and Electrical Area Classifications
