Job Description
We’re looking for a hands-on EHS & Facilities Manager who can own safety, compliance, and the day-to-day health of a production facility. This is a dual-role position—ideal for someone who’s just as comfortable leading OSHA programs as they are managing maintenance, vendors, and facility operations.
If you enjoy being visible on the floor, improving systems, and keeping people safe while production runs smoothly, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Environmental Health & Safety
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards
- Lead safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions
- Manage near-miss reporting, workers’ compensation cases, and root cause analysis
- Deliver safety training (PPE, hazardous materials, emergency response, environmental compliance)
- Maintain environmental permits, reporting, and air/water/waste compliance
Facilities Management
- Oversee daily facility operations, maintenance, and repairs
- Manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building security, and janitorial services
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and infrastructure
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and facility upgrades or improvements
- Manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards for facility projects
Sustainability & Waste Reduction
- Lead waste reduction, recycling, and hazardous waste programs
- Track sustainability metrics and identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact
- Support energy efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
Leadership & Collaboration
- Supervise and develop EHS and facilities team members
- Partner with production and leadership teams to support operational goals
- Act as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
- 3+ years of EHS and/or facilities experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information. #inauto
