Extrusion / Process Technician
Job Description
- Prepare scintillator samples for light yield measurement.
- Measure samples using existing system and record data in excel.
- Prepare coating samples for reflectivity measurements.
- Measure samples using existing system and record data in excel.
- Support operation of the extrusion line.
- Assist in both the running of the extrusion line and QC of the resultant parts.
- A candidate with work experience in one or more of these areas is desired:
- Profile extrusion, including line operation and die and sizer design fundamentals.
- Injection molding, including machine operation and mold design.
- The individual should have basic skills in the use of computers.
