Job Description

Overview 
Our client operates business units specializing in the design and manufacturing of industrial systems for diverse markets worldwide. Join their team and advance your career while getting to work with innovative automation machinery. As a Processing Specialist you will act as a liaison between manufacturing floor and the engineering department. You will be responsible for reviewing parts/assemblies and determining which projects are better to make internally vs. sending them to outside resources.  

Salary
$55,000-60,000/year (Depending on experience)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Read, understand, and verify engineer drawings
  2. Analyze cost effectiveness for in-house or out-sourced manufacturing
  3. Create requisitions for out-sourced  purchases 
  4. Create manufacturer operational routing/sequencing
    • Materials required
    • Manufacturing operations requirements and order
    • Create work orders 
      • Verify existing inventory for release
      • Requisition for materials
    • Issue and release documents
  5. Effectively communicate with internal groups regarding orders in a clear and concise manner to ensure a timely processing 

Education & Required Skills:
  • 2 year technical degree or equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years experience in production line manufacturing or processing required
  • Experience in inventory control and ERP systems a plus
  • Strong ability to read prints
  • Strong knowledge of production line manufacturing 
  • Strong knowledge of cost analysis 
  • Intermediate user level proficiency of ERP Systems (Dynamics preferred)
