Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
Job Description
- Implement safety policies, conduct audits, lead incident investigations, ensure PPE compliance, and manage emergency preparedness plans.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, manage waste disposal, monitor environmental data, and lead sustainability efforts.
- Deliver safety training, promote a safety culture, and support employee wellness programs.
- Maintain EHS records, submit reports, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with teams on projects to enhance safety and reduce environmental impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant regulations.
- CSP, CIH, or similar certification preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS software.
