Engineering Technician
Job Description
- Prepare and maintain layouts of processes and related equipment.
- Create, edit, and maintain necessary documentation.
- Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.
- Assist as needed with equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Work closely with other specialists, including R&D scientists and QA chemists on any variety of assignments.
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments and run routine analyses.
- Assist in evaluating, selecting, specifying, ordering, installing, and validating new processes and equipment.
- Play a role in the initial scale-up for new product introductions.
- Assist manufacturing with process troubleshooting and process improvement programs.
- Assist with various plant maintenance activities when required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Science or Engineering field.
- 6 months+ of work experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
