Job Description

Title: Engineering Technician – Injection Molding
Location: Cary, IL
Contract to Hire
Salary: $28-30/hr
Responsibilities:
  • Process molds from scratch, including startups and changeovers
  • Support single-cavity tooling setups
  • Troubleshoot molding issues and ensure machines run efficiently
  • Work with various resins, including PCR and regrind
  • Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with production standards
  • Maintain accurate records and production documentation
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma/GED required; technical training preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in injection molding (processing and troubleshooting)
  • Experience with single-cavity tooling
  • Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with ISO/FDA standards a plus
